🚒 Charity Car Wash Tomorrow 🚒

Aldridge Fire Station will be holding a charity car wash tomorrow, Saturday 30 May, from 10:00am until 2:30pm.

Bring your car along, get it cleaned by your local firefighters, and help support a great cause at the same time.

Today we worked alongside West Midlands Police at Cooper and Jordan School during school pick-up time, using one of our fire engines to highlight the impact of inconsiderate parking.

As parents arrived to collect their children, it gave a real-time demonstration of how quickly access routes can become blocked. This showed just how difficult it can be for emergency vehicles to get through when roads are congested or vehicles are poorly parked.

It’s not about enforcement today — it’s about awareness. In a real emergency, those delays could make all the difference.

We’re opening our doors to the community! 🚒

Aldridge Fire Station will be hosting our Open Day on Sunday 26th July, 10:00 – 14:00, and everyone is welcome to come along and see what we do.

There’ll be a range of stalls and live displays throughout the day, giving you a chance to meet your local firefighters, take a look at our equipment, and learn more about how we keep the community safe.

It’s a great opportunity for families to come down, have a look around the station, and get involved.

We’re still welcoming interest from anyone who would like to have a stall at the event. If you feel your stall would be a good fit, please send us a message via inbox and we’ll get back to you.

So Saturday 11th April was our first Big Charity car wash of the year raising vital funds for Fire Fighters Charity and a local Parkinson’s support group close to our hearts ❤️, We just wanted to say a Massive Thankyou to the people of Aldridge community and surrounding areas for all your support it was overwhelming and a truly amazing day !😊 With help from Red watches Walsall Fire Station and Bloxwich Fire Station crews we managed to raise a staggering £1760 in total ❤️ so Thankyou once again , this money will make a huge difference to peoples lives and futures 😊❤️ West Midlands Fire Service
