Loch Lomond Early Birds

Lynsey managed to catch a bit of the Aurora tonight at luss!

Well it's nearly time everyone, I love a full moon swim , see you all at 8.30pm!!

19° in the air at 8am , what's that all about!! Sweaty Betty right enough!! Water was only 18.9° and to be honest it felt cold lol and it was raining too!!. There was quite a few people in the water when I got to the beach this morning, a group doing meditation , yoga then a dip and a couple of distance swimmers and then us!! Great chat going on and plenty laughter too , same again tomorrow guys!!

Oooh lovely and fresh this morning, 6° in the air and 11.3° in the water!! Had a welcome party to greet me this morning too. Arms and legs were pure red this morning coming out , that's how you know it's getting cold!! Lol , nice relaxing, calming swim , really sets you up for the day!! Liz, diane and lynne too.

Tuesday is a full moon , so we ll be having a night time swim at 8.30pm just so everyone can make it after work. Seen as theres not much beach left for a fire now it ll just be a hot drink and a bite to eat at the cars!! Remember to charge your headlights!! Oh it's called the beaver moon this time!!

Great swim this morning in the pouring rain, love watching it dance on the water in front of you while you swim although it's not so good when your trying to get dried and it starts chucking it down harder but we re all still smiling and laughing during it!! 10 of us in the water this morning including newbie angie rose!! 10° in the air and 12° in the water, liz, lesley, cathy, collette, sharon, diane, jacqueline, karyn, angie rose and myself, well done ladies!!

Anyone swimming in the morning?

3° in the air this morning and 11.6° in the water!!🥶🥶 cold but magic!! Colours were beautiful as it was getting lighter and the mist made it beautiful. Liz, cathy, collette, karen and myself made it this morning.

Well the loch was lovely flat and calm this morning after all that rain and wind last night and the water level is well up!! Just liz and myself out but it was all happening, ducks gave us an es**rt out after their breakfast, two cygnets flew in and landed beside us and we seen a shooting star/meteor falling out the sky, amazing!!! Air temp 6° water 11.9°

10° in the air and 12.5° in the water. Certainly was flat calm this morning and so so deep!! Cathy and collette joined liz and myself this morning, poor cathy goes home with an amazon list every time she comes!!🤣🤣 today it was socks on her list and collette started one too I think , hers is a hot water bottle!! Lol plenty chat about yoga, sound baths and meditation geez I felt great by the time I got out 🤣🤣🤣 I ll no need to go to any classes !! Have a great day everyone

Oh a lovely light morning for a change!! Couldnt believe how much difference a hour has made to the morning!! Almost didnt need our lights on! Any how air temp 14° water 12.8° and the water was perfectly calm, me and liz had a great swim . Have a great week everyone!
