Early Years Families - save the date

Preparations are well under way for our stay and play session themed around a Teddy Bears’ Picnic.
We are thrilled to be welcoming the children from Mini Michaels Playgroup and our new families.

Emerald class have been making switches in Science. We are investigating how a switch can complete a circuit and let the electricity flow or break a circuit and stop the flow of electricity. We are the scientists of the future!

A very special guest is visiting our school this Friday (22nd May) to inspire our children and help raise money for our school!

Professional GB Athlete Lucy Turner is coming to Alnwick to inspire the next generation and to help us raise money where all proceedings will be spent on improving our sports facilities.
BUT... Our school could be in for a chance to win brand-new sports equipment from the sponsors of the event, Great Athletes, if we raise enough between us!

Good luck to all our amazing Year 6 children in their SATs this week. You have all worked so hard to be here so deep breaths and do your best! We are incredibly proud of you all!

Reception Rubies have been making their very own garden. We have planted the garden with flowers and know we need to give them sunlight and water. we are looking forward to watching them grow. 🌼

Nursery have been singing rhymes using numbers up to 5. We really enjoy 5 currant buns so made our own! There has been lots of accurate counting and investigating ‘how many’ there are. Great (tasty 😋) work everyone.
