Gordon Castle & Jane Coltman make whatever comments they want about anybody & then block you from that group where they make accusations about you, but you are not allowed to respond.

I have been blocked on the grounds of being (i assume) not being kind & courteous😂 even though I was simply asking them to explain what they are accusing me off.

Instead they delete comments & in Gordon’s words ‘it’s all tripe’

he should be no where near the Alnwick Town Council in any capacity.

Hopefully these new procedures in place will be as a speedy as they say.

💫 BUSH RADIO💫

Maybe not as old as some the items we have found in General Lamberts House, but nevertheless still a very interesting find!

We would love to know how old this radio is, can anyone help with this?

It may need a clean too!🙃

It’s a bush radio super-het type sv 4.

The handy book to Solicitors Cost.

While looking down in basement today at General Lamberts House we came across some hidden gems dating back to 1852 & here is one of them!

It’s amazing we are still finding books like this in great condition!

**Lead Work**

Some greats strides have been made over the last few weeks with the roof & we have now started the leadwork which is in keeping with the original fabric of the building.

We now close to slating the roof with original slates where possible too!

We are now expecting the works for the phase will be completed before Xmas!💪

That’s the roof all stripped, it’s quite amazing what good condition the timber is in, particularly when you consider the theft of the lead a few years ago.

Just a couple days now of timber repairs before we start getting ready to re slate the roof with a high % of the original slates!💪
