We have a Geo Day this Sunday the 24th May.
Our Geology Days offer a whole day guide to the geology above and below ground in our mine and the North Pennines. A geology guide booklet is included in the price. The day includes walking on rough and uneven surfaces which are sometimes ankle deep in water and a tour of Carrs mine.
Advance booking is essential. Our charge is £22 per person.

We had a fantastic, fully booked Public Open Day today. We took 56 people on a guided trip in to Carrs mine over the course of the day.
The feedback was excellent with lovely positive comments about our mine guides and all our helpers - we are all volunteers.
We have Geo Day on Sunday 24th May which is a whole day event focussed on geology with a surface field trip and a mine trip.
The next Public Open Day is Sunday 28th June.
