One of the most satisfying elements of becoming involved in local politics started with volunteering at Stanford Park. Fabulous group of people, no experience required, just enthusiasm, , so if anyone interested in joining, please come down on a Wednesday and help out

Today I met with the Headteacher of Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, Mr Wright, at the school to discuss ongoing concerns around road safety on Marlborough Road.

Alongside my colleagues, Cllr Lisa Hancock (Bowdon Ward) and Cllr Phil Eckersley (Bowdon Ward), we are determined to work collaboratively with the school, residents and Trafford Council to find practical solutions to the serious issues being experienced in the area.

Concerns raised include congestion, dangerous driving, unsafe parking, and the risks faced daily by pedestrians, parents and schoolchildren travelling to and from the school.

We all share the same objective - improving safety whilst ensuring any measures introduced are sensible, balanced and workable for local residents and the wider community.

This will require cooperation between the school, local councillors, highways officers and residents, and we are committed to keeping those conversations moving forward constructively.

The safety of children and residents must come first, and we will continue pushing for meaningful action.

Bollard down in Hale.. I do feel drivers starting to pick on our bollards. 😆Get one fixed and another is taken out. Will report as soon as back home but please take pity on our bollards and listen to your parking beepers!

Whilst out campaigning , a local resident reported a drain that had inadvertently been covered in tarmac during road resurfacing many many months ago on Brown Street . I reported and now fixed . Thank you One Trafford for getting this done .
