Is this teddy and the beaker yours, or know whose it is? Found this morning in the Toddlers' Play area by the aviary. We've left it on the picnic bench for collection but hurry cos the teddy is crying😉.

The weather was too bad for park work so we had an enhanced team of DofE volunteers tending to the birds this morning🙂

The park’s majestic beech tree is laden with nuts and an elderflower tree has blossomed disguising the decaying tree trunk near the upper tennis courts🤭.

First Monday in June, so we Health/Wellbeing walked in the park, undeterred by the rain and grateful to the trees for giving us shelter, listening to amusing commentary by our walk leader🙂.

We had 2 groups of bowlers on Saturday afternoon enjoying the fruits of our young DofE volunteers earlier in the day🙂.

And the council staff have trimmed the grass today ready for this evenings session so don't be shy and come along from 18:00.

It was a hot day so we did a shaded Health/Wellbeing walk this week. The bonus was that at the end we could sit outside but the downside was we had to eat the chocolate biscuits quickly😉.

Clearing dock around the park was the thankless task for our young DofE volunteers this morning, as well as seeing to the birds of course🙂.
