Great to host a Lunch Tissington Hall in the main hall with many past Derbyshire County Cricket Club players and officials introducing them to a painting of a FitzHerbert with a cricket bat from 1740. How times have changed.

Tissington Hall is open in aid of the National Garden Scheme Derbyshire on Bank Holiday Monday, 25th May from 12 noon to 3pm.

Come and see our Gardens in the blistering heat of a Bank Holiday (!!!!) and grab a cup of coffee, lunch or a Bluebell Dairy ice ream from Herbert's Fine English Tea Rooms in Tissington Village

Ascension Day saw 6 wells dressed in our Village for Tissington Well Dressings
Bishop Humphrey gave the address at St Mary's Church and then the Clergy and the various dignataries processed around the Tissington Village blessing all the Wells.

Thankyou to The High Sheriff of Staffordshire for attending

The Wells will remain up until Wednesday 20th May at 16.00.
