🤩 Feel Good Friday 🤩

HSC Futures delivered a Sector Based Work Academy in Care on behalf of the South Ayrshire Local Employability Partnership.

The programme consisted of four weeks of theory-based and practical training, with all trainees undertaking a two-week work placement with local employers in South Ayrshire.

Today we celebrated the trainees at the Graduation Event, it was great to see all the trainees and recognise their achievements over the last 6 weeks. 👏

🌟 Work Out! 2026 🌟

Please meet our 2026 Work Out! cohort, with pupils selected from each secondary school across South Ayrshire 🤩

Over the next six months, pupils will attend a work experience placement one day per week. During the programme, pupils will gain valuable experience across various Council departments and local employers. They will also further develop their skills by working alongside a dedicated Thriving Communities Officer to plan and deliver a community give-back day, while working towards achieving their Steps to Work qualification.

We would like to wish all the pupils every success in their new work placements and extend our sincere appreciation and thanks to the employers and partners who continue to support young people through this fantastic programme.
