What is trunk or treat ?
A free family event located at Morrisons Bargoed.
Come see our friends and partners who have been busy dressing up their cars ready for the event.
No need to book, just turn up and pick up a wrist band. Visit any car in any order and find out who the people are behind the creativity!!
Find free advice, find out what’s on in the local area all while the children enjoy trick or treating!!
The best part is… it’s totally free!!
You can bring the whole family!!
And it’s under cover so the weather can’t spoil the fun!!

Help the campaign for legislation to enable community-run renewable energy schemes to sell the power they generate directly to local homes and businesses. Achieving this would lead to more investment in local services, more energy security, more local skilled jobs and a boost for clean energy generation across Scotland, Wales and England.

The Government’s Energy Independence Bill is expected before Parliament within weeks. When it arrives, organised and co-ordinated advocacy at the right Parliamentary moments will help immensely. Our campaigns will only succeed if many people get involved and take action. It’s all about strength in numbers and working together to achieve a common goal.

Bargoed Town Council is working in collaboration with Cardiff University's Welsh School of Architecture, as part of their Placemaking Design Project 🤝🏼
The project is focused on three Valleys towns that are part of the Pride in Place Programme: Maerdy, Tredegar and ✨Bargoed✨!
Second year students will be visiting Bargoed tomorrow to learn more about the area, it's rich mining history and what is important to the community.
So, if you're heading into Bargoed tomorrow and you see them out and about, please feel free to have a chat with them to support their research in this project 👋🏻
