Lovely feedback in the visitors' book today. Our hamper includes a bottle of wine, as you'll see from the feedback. We buy this from our local wine merchant at Coghlans at Barningham so we know it's going to be good stuff. We only provide food and drink that we'd consume ourselves and we have very high standards!! Apart from the dog treats, of course. We don't consume those. We have canine quality control for that.

Discover the freedom of trail running at night during the North Pennines Stargazing Festival on Wednesday 21 October, 7pm to 9.30pm.

This is a guided 5-mile (8km) trail run, in the company of experienced runners. The route is from Low Force along the Pennine Way to High Force, then across fields back to Bowlees Visitor Centre for tea and cake.
