🌺 BARTON UPON HUMBER REMEMBRANCE DAY 2026 🌺

Organised by Barton Upon Humber Town Council

Barton Upon Humber will come together on Sunday 8th November 2026 to remember and honour all those who gave their lives in the service of their country.

🕊️ ORDER OF THE DAY

🕙 10.00am – Parade assembles with standards outside The Assembly Rooms, Queen Street, Barton Upon Humber, DN18 5QP.

🥁 10.15am – The parade departs The Assembly Rooms to the beat of the drummers.

🎺 10.30am – Barton Community Band and members of the Salvation Army begin playing at the bottom of Barrow Road as the parade approaches the War Memorial.

🌺 10.50am – Arrival at the War Memorial.

🕯️ 11.00am – Two minutes’ silence to honour the fallen.

🙏 11.05am – Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial, including the reading of the names of the fallen.

⛪ Following the service – Barton Community Band and members of the Salvation Army will lead the procession down Barrow Road to St Mary’s Church, where a further service will take place for those who wish to attend.

❤️ Everyone is welcome to join us as we pay our respects, reflect and remember the courage, sacrifice and service of all those who gave their lives for our country.

We will remember them.
