Bassingbourn Community Library Volunteers run a library of adult and children's fiction and picture books. Cafe and seating. We have a Book Trolley with second-hand books for sale.

The Bassingbourn Community Library opened as the Book Cafe in November 2003, replacing the village library, which was closed by Cambridgeshire County Council. Bassingbourn Community Library has over 5,000 books to lend, with the latest popular fiction, a large children’s section, a local history reference section and the ability to order books from the Cambridgeshire Library Service. It is open three days a week, and is a great meeting place with a Café, and free Wifi. Bassingbourn Community Library is staffed and managed by volunteers and is supported by Cambridgeshire Library Services. Opening Times
