As we celebrate National Apple Day, we're reflecting on a truly wonderful Apple Day at Parnham Park this past Saturday. 🍎
Apple Day is about far more than apples. It's a celebration of heritage, biodiversity, local food, traditional skills, and the people who help keep them alive. Those values sit at the heart of Parnham.
Championing craftsmanship, supporting small producers and farmers, protecting traditions, and fostering a connection between people, food and the land is very much in our DNA, and at the core of the ethos behind the Parnham Restaurant.
From expert apple identification and local c***r tasting to artisan market stalls, live music during the day and into the night at the Parnham Restaurant, family activities and plenty of seasonal food and drink, the day was a celebration of everything that makes our rural communities so special.
A huge thank you to everyone who made the event possible. To our performers, stallholders, orchard and apple experts, traders and dedicated staff, thank you for your passion, knowledge and hard work.

And of course, thank you to the 1200 of you who joined us. Whether you brought apples for identification, discovered a new favourite c***r, supported local businesses, explored the market, danced into the night at The Parnham Restaurant, or simply soaked up the atmosphere, thank you for celebrating alongside us.
Cheers to keeping these traditions alive, supporting our growers and makers, and celebrating the rich diversity of our orchards for generations to come.
Until next year...
