I’ve not posted for a while, as I have been at full capacity and happily busy with my clients 😁
I am still here and do have some availability on occasion. It’s always worth asking as I am usually able to accommodate!

Also, behind the scenes I am doing some additional training, to help support my clients to the best of my ability. This includes an ADHD coaching certificate and additional training in neurodiversity, which means I can truly offer a person centred package of support to my clients.

I am trained to a level 6, with BSC Honours in Health and Social Welfare.
I have additional training in End of life care, Dementia awareness, manual handling, safe handling of medications and first aid and have previously worked as a Health Care Assistant and in a community care team. I have also worked on an Emergency Care Team and in complex care, so have a wide range of experience with different aspects of care and support needs.
Enhanced DBS on the update system and fully insured.

🌟 I’ve had a few clients ask me what happens if they need to cancel a visit for any reason or if I am ill or need to take any leave, so I thought I’d pin a post up to let people know 🌟

🔹 I know things happen and clients may need to cancel a visit, for various reasons including hospital stays or appointments. I completely understand this, but if less than 24 hours notice, I would need to charge full rate, as I wouldn’t be able to fill that visit time at short notice. If 48 hours notice is given, half the support rate would be charged. If it is going to be a few visits and I have notice, a half price retaining fee would be chargeable to keep your support time open for you, which can be held for up to 2 weeks.

🔹 I am 100% committed to my clients, but everyone comes down with a tummy bug or such at some point. I will always let clients know as soon as possible if I am unwell and point them in the right direction to other local PA’s, if that is their wish.

✈️ I go on holiday once a year and plan way in advance, so I can give these dates at least 6 months prior to being on leave.
