Youth & Community Sector Emergency Meeting

West Belfast Partnership Board hosted organisations from across the city for an emergency youth and community sector meeting.

This was to demonstrate solidarity and support with our youth & community workers who faced threats and intimidation while trying to quell the voilence and criminality on the Stewartstown Road last weekend. Scenes that have no place in our community, which are not acceptable and will not be tolerated.

Colin is a proud, resilient community where I have lived and worked for over 20 years and now represent.

We have a wealth of outstanding youth, community and sporting organisations that work everyday to improve people’s lives.

They provide positive pathways for young people and these are the people that deserve our full respect and support.

As a sector, we stand in solidarity with every youth & community worker serving the Colin area and beyond.
