Park for free after 3 this Christmas!
Free parking sessions will be available again at all Wyre Forest District Council car parks during the festive period.
From Tuesday 1 December to Thursday 24 December, visitors can park for free between 3pm and 6pm, Monday to Friday, in all council-owned car parks.
This offer includes short stay car parks, which have a maximum two-hour limit. Motorists — including those using the MiPermit app — won’t need to pay during these hours. A ticket is still required, and any overpayments won’t be refunded.
This festive offer is in addition to the council’s free hour parking scheme at Batemans Yard, Kidderminster, Gardners Meadow, Bewdley and Vale Road, Stourport
The festive parking offer only applies to car parks owned by Wyre Forest District Council. It does not include Weaver’s Wharf car park in Kidderminster, which is privately owned.

Order made: to close that part of U10404 Westbourne St from its junction with B4190 Kidderminster Rd to its junction with U10405 Lych Gate.
Reason: Remedial works by STW.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4190 Kidderminster Rd, B4195 Stourport Rd and vice versa.

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF B4195 STOURPORT ROAD, BEWDLEY, WORCESTERSHIRE ("THE HIGHWAY")



Reason for restriction: Sewer Works. There is a likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road. There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-



- The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with U10404 Westbourne Street to its junction with U10406 Sandbourne Drive.



- This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 2 days (24 hrs) commencing 29 October 2026.



- Alternative routes: B4190 Kidderminster Road, A456 Bewdley Bypass and vice versa.
