📺 A Star-Studded Day Out for Kensington Hall! 📺

What a fantastic day for residents at Kensington Hall, who recently enjoyed an exciting trip to the Emmerdale village 💚

Thomas, Stacey, Jackie, Sam, Craig and Mark were joined by staff members Julie, Lynn and Maureen for a day full of memorable experiences. From enjoying a drink in the sunshine outside The Woolpack 🍻 to a delightful afternoon tea in the village hall ☕, the day was filled with laughter and great company.

They also took a lovely stroll around the village, stopping off at Viv’s post office to pick up some souvenirs—making the day even more special 🎁

Ethan spent a fantastic day at Alton Towers in CBeebies Land, joined by staff members Cari and Kerry, who supported him throughout the visit. From the moment he arrived, Ethan was excited and eager to explore. The highlight of his day was seeing Iggle Piggle and the full cast of characters, which brought out big smiles and lots of excitement. With Cari and Kerry by his side, Ethan enjoyed a fun, engaging, and memorable experience from start to finish.

Abigail had a wonderful time celebrating her birthday at Middleton Lodge, surrounded by kindness, laughter, and lots of love 💚

A true lover of summer, George can often be found spending time in the garden—something he takes great pride in. Recently, he worked alongside staff to sand down and repaint the garden table, bringing new life to the space 🌿

George has also been getting creative by making his own hanging flower baskets, with exciting plans to grow climbing plants across his garden structures. It’s been wonderful to see him shaping the space into something he’s proud of 🌸

We are delighted to share some wonderful news about TL and the incredible progress he has made towards achieving his long-term goal of exhibiting his artwork.

TL has worked with great dedication and passion to develop his artistic talents, and we are proud to say that his artwork is now on permanent display at MIND at Buttermarket. This is a fantastic accomplishment and a reflection of both his creativity and commitment.

TL’s artwork focuses on local buildings and landmarks, capturing familiar scenes in a unique and thoughtful way. Through his art, he has showcased the beauty and character of the local area, creating pieces that are both meaningful and inspiring. He uses a variety of mediums in his work, demonstrating his versatility and willingness to experiment with different techniques. From painting and drawing to mixed media pieces, each artwork highlights his skill, attention to detail, and personal style.

Having his work permanently displayed is a significant milestone and something TL should be extremely proud of. It not only celebrates his talent but also allows others to enjoy and appreciate his creativity every day.

There’s always a buzz of excitement at Parkside when Emma’s Exotic Animals come to visit—and this time was no different! 💚

With nearly all residents getting involved, the afternoon was filled with hands-on animal therapy, from holding reptiles to spending calm, relaxing time with the animals. It was a truly engaging and memorable experience for everyone 🐢
The impact was clear—smiles, laughter, and a real sense of joy across the service. Staff joined in too, making it a shared experience that brought everyone together 😊
