☀️🎉 What a fantastic evening at our Summer Fair!

The sun shone, the music was pumping, and it was wonderful to see so many families, friends and members of our community joining us for a brilliant evening of fun.

There was something for everyone, from Tin Can Alley (featuring some very familiar teacher faces! 😄), Hook a Duck, Play Your Cards Right, the Human Fruit Machine and Splat a Teacher, to the Eco Stall, Pupil Council Stall, Tombola, Beat the Goalie, and plenty of delicious food and refreshments.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, supported the stalls and helped create such a fantastic atmosphere. Special thanks go to our incredible HSP for their hard work, generosity and wonderful support in helping make the event such a success.

Thank you all for making it such a memorable evening. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did! 🌟🎪🍔🎶⚽️🍦

🇪🇸💃 Year 1 enjoyed their MEAS Spanish workshop, where they learnt all about the culture of Flamenco. Some children tried on traditional costumes, and everyone created their very own Spanish fan. 🪭✨

🇧🇩✨ Year 1 have been discovering all about Bangladesh as part of our Culture Week celebrations! They explored Bangladeshi culture, traditional foods, and clothing, and enjoyed decorating a traditional rickshaw. 🛺🎨

🌍✨ Year 5 have been busy celebrating Culture Week! They explored British Values and created artwork inspired by William Morris. 🎨

They also discovered Arabic culture, learning about food, currency, religion, countries, and the Arabic alphabet, before writing their names on bookmarks. 📚✏️

To finish, they enjoyed Bollywood dancing with Jade, inspired by the vibrant culture of India. 💃🇮🇳

🇪🇸✨ As part of our Culture Week celebrations, 2M enjoyed a Spanish workshop with Deborah from MEAS. They learnt fascinating facts about Spain, explored traditional clothing, and created their very own Spanish fans! 🪭💃

🌙✨ 2M enjoyed a wonderful visit from Sheema from MEAS, learning all about the Five Pillars of Islam and exploring Islamic traditions. We loved discovering more about different cultures and beliefs. 🌍💫

🌙✨ Today Year 2 welcomed Sheema from MEAS, who shared with us some wonderful Islamic traditions. We explored the beautiful patterns found on prayer mats and designed our very own creations. 🎨🕌
