Hello, comrades! It is only because of our supporters that we, as part of the socialist appeal, can draw upon the necessary means to wage this struggle. Therefore, we would like to make an appeal directly to you- our comrades, supporters, and readers. Could you make a donation or make a pledge to help support us in continuing the fight for a socialist revolution?

🚩WAS THE USSR SOCIALIST? 🚩

The USSR is a polarising issue: some hail it as a testament to socialism, some condemn it as the reason it doesn’t work. But was the USSR really socialist?

Although the USSR made some great strides in industry, technology, and culture, it was ultimately strangled by its totalitarian bureaucracy which distorted and manipulated Marxism to suit its own interests.

The question is then, if the bureaucrats were so theoretically bankrupt and laden with mistakes, how did they attain and hold onto power until 1991 when the USSR fell?

Join us next Monday for a discussion on the true nature of the USSR.

đźš© is calling for an anti-war protest outside the Waterstones next Monday. đźš©

Solidarity to the Ukrainian and Russian working class who did not vote for this imperialist war yet will be the ones to suffer the consequences. It therefore begs the question, what can I do in the UK?

The real enemy is at home, we must highlight the hypocrisy and corruption of the British state and the ruling class they represent. We must expose the crocodile tears of the tories who do not care one bit about the Ukrainian working class.

Capitalism isn’t working, it’s repeatedly shooting itself in the foot with austerity cuts, climate ignorance and contradictions in every corner of its very function. It’s digging itself into a deeper and deeper hole, and there’s only one way out. Socialism. With an economy democratically designed in such a way that caters to the needs of society, a reliance on Keynesianism or austerity to fund the welfare state will be a thing of the past. However, this is unachievable without the leadership of a revolutionary party. This is why the work we do in the International Marxist Tendency is key to a successful socialist revolution. So come along to this talk and learn about what socialism would look like and join us in the fight for revolution! Socialism is within our grasp but a Marxist Vanguard is needed to guide the masses forward.

Climate catastrophe, a ruinous pandemic, economic collapse - capitalism is in its deepest quagmire yet. Millions of angry youth and workers across the globe have begun to call themselves socialist or Marxist, and have taken to the streets demanding change - even revolution!

But what is Marxism? Why are the establishment making so much effort to attack it?
