Fun festivals for families!

Bournville BookFest organises brilliant storytelling events, workshops and performances which different generations can enjoy together.

Our biggest annual event in June is a 10-day storytelling extravaganza for 0-12 year olds brings some of Britain’s best-loved children’s authors to the city plus creative workshops, story walks and imaginative concerts. www.bournvillebookfest.com Ticket prices are kept as low as possible so larger families can afford to come, and events are unstuffy and interactive - we’ve won awards for our warm welcome!

We are very proud of our Outreach Programme for Schools at Town Hall Birmingham every March, which gives large audiences of school children the opportunity to see Britain’s best-loved authors on stage and inspire them to become lifelong readers.

Our family of festivals also includes Solihull BookFest and Sutton Coldfield BookFest.
