Hey everyone!

In Xinjiang (in East Turkestan occupied by China), indigenous people -called the Uighurs- are being tortured and persecuted because of their faith and identity. Millions of them are being thrown into concentration camps where they are subjected to horrifying ordeals- such as r**e, forced sterilisation, physical abuse and some even being tortured to death. These are only SOME of the atrocities they have endured.

*This is a Genocide!!!*
This has been formally and officially recognised as a Genocide by both the UK government and the United Nations – our promise of ‘Never Again’ is being put to the test. And *YOU* have a chance to help do something to stop it!

Our Guild of Students is having a vote this week for a motion to support a Free Uighur Campaign on Campus. Please make sure to head over and *VOTE* – Remember YOUR vote could make all the difference!!!
