A huge thank you to all the students involved in our litter-picking session in May. A mix of Year 7 and Year 8 pupils including Sameha, Iqra, Myra, Dimitrie, Scarlett, Marcel, Poppy, and Aimee represented the academy wonderfully and should be very proud of themselves.

Happy Dinosaur Day!

Dinosaur day is a global celebration of prehistoric reptiles, palaeontology and ancient history. For any dinosaur enthusiasts, we recommend 'The Dinosaurs' on Netflix and BBC bitesize have loads of resources available for Dinosaur Day.

Throwing it back to one of Mrs Graham's favourite song recordings from KESH choir last year. Looking forward to doing some fresh recordings in the summer term! Especially proud of all of the soloists on this one.

Reading isn’t just for fun—it’s a way to feel connected when you feel lonely, and to find quiet when things are noisy
Just ten minutes of reading a day can lower stress levels
Not sure what to read? You can join our May reading challenge and read about the Natural World and David Attenborough or ask the librarian for other ideas

This week, we are proud to support Mental Health Awareness Week. 💚 Taking care of our mental wellbeing is as important as looking after our physical health. We should always promote kindness, resilience, and positive mental health and help break the stigma around mental health.
