🚨 𝗔 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀.

On Wednesday night, dozens of firefighters were required to tackle a major blaze at a carpet storage unit in Tyseley Industrial Estate. At its peak, 75 firefighters, aerial platforms and specialist units were deployed, with crews still on site on Thursday morning due to the scale and complexity of the fire.

We’d like to recognise and thank West Midlands Fire Service for their swift and coordinated response in challenging conditions. Despite the poor weather, their actions helped prevent the fire from spreading further and limited wider impact.

Incidents like this are a sobering reminder of how quickly fire can take hold in industrial and commercial environments, and why fire safety remains so important for all property types.

The Lyng Centre for Health and Social Care in West Bromwich is one of the largest primary care centres in Britain. The five storey building serves more than 16,000 patients, bringing together four GP practices, 12 NHS departments and space for a host of services, including audiology, dentistry and community nursing.

Harrold Jones Services are delighted to have secured works to provide and refurbish 5 new dental suites within The Lyng Health Centre.

HJS teams’ busy summer with refurbishment and upgrade projects at two Dudley College campuses continued at the Broadway site.

Our team has replaced both main and rear entrance doors alongside new DDA compliant disabled access ramp entrance ramps and screens.

HJS manufactured and installed purpose made a white RAL9910 gloss polyester powder coated aluminium door screen together with new steel PPC handrails to both sides of the ramps, core drilled and set into brick side walls.

HJS teams have been busy during the summer with refurbishment and upgrade projects at two Dudley College campuses.

At the College’s Construction Apprenticeship Training Centre in Brierley Hill, we have carried out a complete refurbishment to the Male WC’s using upgraded materials.

Existing fixtures were removed and disposed of, with stainless steel featuring extensively in the upgrade.

All decorating was carried out by our teams with new flooring, fixtures and fittings also supplied and installed by HJS.

Hampton View is a residential tower block located in the Heath Town area of Wolverhampton, England. Completed in 1969, the building stands 22 storeys tall.
