In the North West and Yorkshire we celebrated Foster Parent Appreciation Day with a wonderful afternoon tea at two events attended by our foster parents and staff. It was a lovely opportunity to come together, catch up and recognise the dedication and commitment our foster parents show every day. A special highlight was hearing our Supervising Social Workers share heartfelt speeches about each foster parent, celebrating their individual strengths and the positive impact they make on the lives of children and young people.
Thank you to all our amazing foster parents. Your care, support and dedication truly make a difference.

💙 Celebrating Foster Parent Appreciation Day 💙
We had a fantastic time celebrating our amazing foster parents at Walsall Football Club. The event included a special message from our Managing Director, fun icebreaker activities, a quiz, and heartfelt tributes read by social workers recognising the incredible difference our foster parents make every day.
We were also delighted to present long-service awards to recognise years of dedication and commitment, before rounding off the afternoon with a delicious afternoon tea and the opportunity to catch up together.
A huge thank you to all our foster parents for your compassion, resilience and unwavering support. We appreciate everything you do for children and young people, not just today, but every day.
