BULS members were out today supporting local Labour party candidates across the wider West Midlands region.

We knocked doors in Tamworth, Lichfield, and Redditch, providing support for our fantastic candidates in the County Council elections in both Staffordshire and Worcestershire.

We will be having our online AGM from Saturday 29th March until Friday 4th April. This is your opportunity to stand for election, and vote for your committee for the upcoming year.

The roles available are: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Women's Officer, BAME Officer, LGBTQ+ Officer, and Disability Officer.

Nominations open at 9am on Saturday 29th March, and will close at Midnight on Tuesday 1st April.

Voting will open on our Guild page at 10am on Thursday 3rd April, and close at 10am on Friday 4th April. We will receive the results following the close of voting on Friday 4th April.

Charlotte, our Women's Officer, will be presenting an argument about why we need to deal with the issues of men to truly deal with the issues of women. We will then open the floor up for debate and any questions you may have.
