Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif earlier today was given an extremely warm welcome at Kinnaird College as he arrived for the laptop distribution ceremony. A charged and ecstatic crowd clapped and cheered slogans as the ceremony commenced. CM stated that he was proud to be addressing merit scholars and explained to them that the beauty of the laptop scheme is that it does not discriminate between students or their backgrounds and irrespective of caste,colour,creed,political affiliation and social status, laptops are awarded to brilliant students who are selected on merit. CM stated that the youth are the future of Pakistan and he has from day one invested in education and started programs such as Punjab Education Endowment Fund and Daanish Schools. The students were extremely delighted on the occasion and expressed gratitude to the CM for promoting merit and focussing on the youth. (Admin)
