Free Walk & Talks at Stoke Common Park
Wednesday 11 and Saturday 21 November

Local residents are invited to join Artist Jordi Raga and Ornithologist Professor Alex Kacelnik for a Walk and Talk, exploring and observing bird life at Stoke Common Park.

Jordi Raga has been commissioned to make a new piece of public art for Stoke Common Park, called 'The Nest'. Inspired by the abundant wildlife at the site, the sculptor is developing a multi-functional design which aims to offer a rest spot and potential new habitat for birds, as well as an attractive focal point for human visitors.

In November we are planning two Walk & Talk sessions (please only book for one of these) and a creative nest-building session to bring everyone together. Following a walk through Stoke Park Woods to Stoke Common Park, there will be refreshments and a talk by Professor Kacelnik in the Parish Council office at the allotments of Sewall Drive.

Booking is free with a maximum of ten places for each Walk & Talk. Please copy and paste the link in the comments.
