The Spitfire Display Team will be supporting Stoke City Football Club with their Remembrance Days commemorations on the 31st October, at the start of their match against Preston North End FC.
We are always proud to visit Stoke, the home of the Spitfires designer Reginald Mitchell.
Preparing the Aircraft is one thing, getting promotional materials ready another task for our Volunteer team 🫡🙏🏻

The Spitfire Visitor Centre is still open to the Public today the 20/10 and Tuesday 27th October as well as Saturdays in October 10am until 4pm
In November we will only open on Saturday's between 13:00 and 16:00. You must purchase your tickets and experiences online using the "Book Now" button on our website.
We will close on the last Saturday in November at 4pm, with scheduled reopening late March 2027.

In November we move to Saturday afternoon only openings (13:00-16:00) If you are planning a visit to Blackpool in November then book your entrance and experience tickets NOW online, as we will have limited availability for these sessions. Book your tickets via our website for:

🤓 The Mini Sim flight aerial combat sim
👀👀 The Virtual Reality Air Raid
✈ The Spitfire Cockpit Familiarisation Talk and Souvenir Photos experience.
We only have a small number of "Experience Tickets" available per hour, so please book in advance online to avoid disappointment. These tickets make great gifts or suprises.
Please note that we will be close from December to March 2027 inclusive, so just 4 weeks to visit the 2026 Displays.

More Space Urgently needed!!
The problem with Aircraft is they take up a lot of space!
As we draw close to closing for the Winter, we start to consider our displays for 2027.
We are also now looking for space for Sale or Rent off the Airport site to act as our restoration centre - as sadly we have no more space available on the Airport.
You can still visit the Hangar on Saturday and Tuesday in October and Saturday afternoon only in November - please purchase your tickets in advance via our website
If you are aware of any commercial premises available in Blackpool South or Lytham St Annes, please let us know.

Planning a Visit in November? Please remember that Saturday afternoon sessions in November will be "advance ticket sales only". These sessions will run 13:00 - 16:00 only and will fit in with the switch on of the Blackpool Illuminations - so you can bring the family to see the Spitfires and then travel down the Golden Mile to view the Blackpool Illuminations.

Today was our last day this season hosting flyaspitfiire.com at hangar 42 spitfire visitors centre . Amongst the seven flights today was Spitfire Visitors centre patron John Coombes who flew the Grey Nurse and was met on his return back to base by johns family and friends . We look forward to supporting flyaspitfire.com again next season 🙏
