Aardvark Building Conservation Building with Distinction for Buildings of Character. A directly connected parent of 'Aardvark Plasterworks' which is also on Facebook.

Years of extensive training, expert tuition, a little trial and error and a lot of love, lead to a well-grounded and much practised expertise in the care and maintenance of our built heritage. With care, any building, from the most prestigious to the most humble, may be cared for and successfully conserved and restored. The greatest link is the connection with the past...And a passion for the future. With years of experience with the care and restoration of many prestigious buildings, I also work on your smaller homes. From cob and chalk to Georgian to the modern estate building, I can emulate the past or create the future. If you have big ideas or small plans, give me a call.

A good bit of progress this week. As soon as the corner was dry enough to hold the roof, we could reveal the damage of the front wall - which is split vertically nearest the corner, and has a previously bodged diagonal fracture - which is to be rebuilt. All vertical blocks are secured by long fixings into the original, and all vertical cracks have been cross-stitched using 'spiro-ties'.
