⚠ IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR TOMORROW (25/10/2026) ⚠

Bolsover Castle will be closed on Sunday 25th October due to dangerously high winds, following the Met Office's yellow warning.

If you have pre-booked tickets, you will be contact to rearrange your visit or be issued a full refund. This will happen automatically, so you don’t need to contact us.

We always do everything we can to avoid unexpected closures like this, and we’re really sorry to disappoint you. We hope you’ll be able to visit us on another day soon.

CAUTION: Escaped animal spotted at Bolsover Castle. 🚨

We're asking all our visitors to keep an eye out for the below individual. He's known to have links to Bolsover, frequenting the town particularly when the nights start to draw in.

We're expecting suspicious activity to increase over the next couple of months, peaking on Saturday 28th November so keep an eye out for any other strange individuals.
