Be One Homes This is a community page for Be One Homes - working to provide homes and neighbourhoods to support people to build a better life. Could we help you?

We own, manage, and maintain around 19,000 homes across the region. We invest to improve the quality of our properties for tenants and are building new homes to give as many people as we can the opportunity to live in a quality, affordable home. Our work goes far beyond bricks and mortar. We tackle poverty with debt and money advice. We provide food and clothes initiatives and help people keep warm for less. We support tenants and residents into training and employment, and deal with antisocial behaviour. We help customers to remain independent in their own homes with a community alarm service and adaptations. And we work with volunteer groups to build sustainable communities. We're a charitable community benefit society that works to make people’s lives better by providing quality housing, giving people opportunities to prosper, and helping customers to maximise their income. To achieve this, we work in partnership with a variety of local charities, social enterprises, and other agencies. We also work to make a lasting difference to lives across the city region, as one of the Greater Manchester Housing Providers working in partnership to achieve more together. And we've created subsidiaries within our group structure to acquire more properties and provide the means to invest more in communities and neighbourhoods. We know that successful community regeneration requires more than developing and managing homes, it needs a commitment to help people become more socially and economically active. Between April 2024 and March 2025, we supported over 2,300 families with money advice and helped people to achieve financial gains amounting to £13.1 million. Our employment related programmes helped over 200 people into paid work and more into training. And we supported 166 local groups and organisations. We also provide direct financial support to voluntary, community and social enterprise partners. We provide housing and personal support to people who are vulnerable, at risk of homelessness, and survivors of domestic abuse and violence. We run community projects to develop people’s skills, health, and confidence. And our staff make a difference in the neighbourhoods we serve by volunteering and donating to charitable causes. ❓ Are you a Be One Homes tenant? We'd love to hear your feedback - which is why you might be asked to complete an upcoming Tenant Perception Survey. Here’s everything you need to know:

Soon, we’ll start randomly select tenants to share their views and experiences about our services as part of our latest Tenant Perception Survey (and share the results, known as Tenant Satisfaction Measures, in 2027 on our website).

If you’re selected to take part, you’ll most likely get a phone call – but some may receive postal survey or email from [email protected] inviting you to take part online.

We’ve partnered up with an independent company called Kwest Research to carry out these surveys on our behalf – but unlike previous years, we’ll be carrying out three rounds of surveys (with around 1,000 tenants contacted in total) throughout the year to better understand how satisfaction levels are shifting.

Kwest Research follows a strict code of conduct. Their interviewers won’t lead you towards a particular point of view and you’ll be given a range of options that will allow you to express your opinion.

The results will be used to calculate the annual Tenant Satisfaction Measures, which we’ll share with the Regulator of Social Housing and publish on our website so you can see what tenants have told us and how we’re responding.

Your privacy is important – you can stay anonymous if you want, and your answers will only be linked to your name if you choose.

As we all need to be aware of potential bogus callers, Kwest’s call will only be about the survey. You won’t be asked for password, financial details, or personal information about your household.

📞 The call will come from a mobile number between 9am and 8pm Monday to Friday. If you miss the call, please don’t worry. Kwest will try again at another time, and they won’t leave any voicemails. There’s also no need to call them back, so there’s no cost to you.

Once we’ve reviewed the responses, we’ll share the main findings and any changes we’ve made or plan to make based on your feedback.

Remember: your opinion always counts. If you’re not contacted for these surveys, you can still provide feedback by phoning us on 01204 328000 or by visiting our website.

For more information on how we manage your personal data, please read the Privacy Notice on our website. If you’ve any questions about your personal data, please contact our Information Governance Team at [email protected].

Thanks for helping us improve our services.

Tackling Fly-tipping

Fly-tipping is not just a nuisance; it's a serious environmental crime that disrupts communities, harms ecosystems, and incurs significant costs to put right.

Everyone has a legal duty to responsibly dispose of their waste. Failure to do so can result in a fixed penalty notice, unlimited fine and, in serious cases, imprisonment.

💙 Why supported housing matters

This week, we're supporting the National Housing Federation's Supported Housing Week, raising awareness of the vital role supported housing plays in helping people live safely, independently and with confidence.

We believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home and the support to help them navigate difficult times and build a positive future.

Supported housing is about more than housing. It provides stability, opportunity and tailored support when it's needed most.

Read real stories from our customers, which show the resilience of people facing difficult circumstances and the life-changing difference a safe home and the right support can make.
