💚🌼 world mental health day – 10th october 🌼💚

Today, we’re sending love and support to everyone, wherever they are on their mental health journey. 💚

Whether you’re feeling stuck, experiencing loneliness, supporting a friend, recovering from burnout, living with a mental health condition or simply going through a difficult time, please remember that you are not alone. 💚🌻

As first responders, we know how important it is to look after others, but looking after ourselves matters too. It’s okay not to be okay, it’s okay to ask for help, and it’s okay to take time for yourself. 🚑💚

A small act of kindness, a listening ear or simply asking someone “are you okay?” can make a bigger difference than you realise. 🤝🌼

Let’s continue to look out for one another, break the stigma around mental health and remind each other that no one has to face things alone. 💚

From everyone at alveley first responders, we’re sending love to our community today and every day. 🌻💚

A fantastic result, thank you to everyone who organised the festival and all those that attended. Support like this ensures our scheme continues to support the Alveley Community and ultimately helps save lives 💚

❤️⚽️ ALVELEY, YOU HAVE DONE SOMETHING AMAZING! ⚽️❤️

We are absolutely overwhelmed with pride to announce that OVER £2,400 has been raised! 🙌🎉

The money will be shared between our Alveley Community First Responders and Alveley Football Juniors, supporting those who do so much for our community and our young footballers.

A MASSIVE shout-out to David Dexters - Bosch Car Service’s & Martini Tyre Services LTDs, who helped raise over £350 alone with some amazing prizes! 👏❤️

Thank you to every single stallholder who joined us on the day, and to Alveley and Romsley Parish Council for your incredible support, helping us raise funds and for your continued support with our defibrillator.

A huge thank you to the Graham and Head family's for organising the event and to everyone who helped make it possible:

🍴 Shropshire Event Catering
🍻 The Three Horseshoes Alveley
⚽ Alveley Sports Club
⚽ AFC Alveley
🎪 Leo's Loco Circus
🎤 Clews and Burgess from Clews Cooper & Burgess
🎧 DJ Toby Horton

And last, but NOWHERE NEAR LEAST… OUR AMAZING FOOTBALLERS! ⚽️❤️

They raised an incredible OVER £900 themselves! 👏👏👏 What an achievement and what a difference they have made!

This festival showed exactly what makes our community so special — people coming together, supporting each other and making a real difference.

To everyone who donated, volunteered, attended, performed, sponsored, helped organise or simply supported us…

Housed in the recreation pavilion, this unit will be accessible during sporting and village events on the rec.

A huge thank you to Alveley Football Juniors for coordinating, and to Alveley and Romsley Parish Council for funding a brand new long-life battery and set of pads to keep it operational for years to come. 💚
