🌞 Did you use The Vench over the summer holidays? 🌿

We’d love to hear from you! 💚

We’re gathering feedback from the children, young people and families who used The Vench over the summer to help us show our funders the difference our summer programme has made to local families.

Whether you visited us once, came along every week, joined in with activities, enjoyed a meal, or simply used the playground as a safe and welcoming place to spend time — we want to hear from you!

Your feedback helps us understand:
✨ What you enjoyed most
🌳 How The Vench supported your family over the summer
🍎 Whether our food and activities helped reduce some of the pressures of the holidays
💚 What you’d like to see us offer in the future

It only takes a few minutes, but your feedback can make a really big difference in helping us secure funding and continue providing these opportunities for our community.

🌞 A little update from us

Due to the extreme heat and some ongoing drainage issues at The Vench, we’ve made the decision to keep the venue closed until Monday.

We know how much our community enjoys using the venue, and we really appreciate your understanding while we get everything back to normal. 💛

We’ll be reviewing the situation again over the weekend and will keep you updated if anything changes. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday and getting back to doing what we love!

Thank you for your continued support and understanding. Stay safe, stay cool, and we’ll see you Monday! ☀️😊

Hi everyone,

It's that time again! 😊

Over the summer holidays, we'll once again be cooking up to 100 meals a day for children in our community, and we couldn't do it without our amazing volunteers.

The programme runs from Thursday 23rd July until Friday 28th August, and we're looking for any help you can offer during that time. Whether you can spare a few hours, one day, or several days, every bit of support makes a real difference.

Volunteering with us is a great way to give back, meet lovely people, enjoy plenty of tea and coffee, and leave each day with a real sense of pride, knowing you've helped ensure local children have a nutritious meal during the school holidays.

If you have any availability and would like to help, please let us know. We'd be so grateful for your support ❤️
