This flytipping is unacceptable.

We have a full video with the name and address on the packaging.

This has now been collected and reported. This is sadly someone in our village.

We have so many wonderful volunteers, who take pride in where we all live. Please do not dump your waste, put it in your own bins or take to a recycling centre.

Morning everyone 🌅
A polite request people do not leave their flytipped rubbish at the clothing bank.
A kind and vigilant volunteer removed this and put in their own bin. 🙏

It’s so good to be able to publicly thank the
two boys who used their initiative to look up the Clerk’s phone number to report that one of the doors at the village hall had been left open.
We really appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Well done the two of you, you should be really proud of yourselves .. and your families should also be very proud. Good job 🙏

A huge thank you to Richard Day for doing a fantastic job of cutting back the hedges around the Village Hall. 🙏🙏🙏

Richard was a really worthy recipient of Wrawby Person of the year for carrying out many voluntary works around the village, we really appreciate all his hard work 🫶

Our hard working Parish Councillors, Mike and Mark, fixing the safety surface 👏

10/08/2026

Please be aware that due to excessive temperatures the soft play surface around the seesaw has lifted in places and presents a trip hazard. This has now been marked with cones for your safety and as a short term measure.
A contractor repair is approximately £1500 to patch the lifted areas, a figure the Parish Council would struggle to meet. We are applying for grants to replace the seesaw and it's surface and spending £1500 as a stop gap is poor use of funds.

We are ordering materials to patch a strip of the soft surface ourselves with the aim of doing the work next week, this is at a cost of a less than £200. So please bear with us.

If anyone has a portable cement mixer they could loan us for a day to allow us to mix the rubber and resin it would speed things up considerably, plea see message me if you do.

In the interim however pease take care in the play area.
