Bude Community Fire Station Welcome to the official page of Bude Community Fire Station. Stay up-to-date on Incidents, news & events as they happen.

Bude Community Fire Station is run by on-call firefighters with 18 crew members; including 1 Station Manager, 1 Watch Manager and 2 Crew Managers. The station is home to two Major pumping appliances and two Swift Water Rescue vehicles. The area covered by our station reaches as far as Morwenstow and into parts of Devon, and down as far as Crackington Haven. Our training evenings are every Monday (excluding Bank Holidays) between the hours of 18:00 and 21:00. Should you wish to make contact or visit, please do so within these hours when someone will be guaranteed available. For non emergencies, contact our Critical Control Centre on 01872 320205.

Our station has two water rescue trucks, and these are equipped with essential kits for any water, mud or unstable ground rescues.

So tonight’s drill was to rescue two casualties who had fallen into the canal (one being our very own Watch Manager!)

We used three different methods of rescue, which included throw lines, a reach and rescue hook and an inflatable hose.

The wait is over - we're delighted to announce that despite the downpours throughout the day, we raised a total of £4000...

The wait is over - we're delighted to announce that despite the downpours throughout the day, we raised a total of £4000 on our open day! 🎉 We'll be splitting this between our three chosen charities - £2040 for The Fire Fighters Charity, £980 for 1st Bude Scout Group - new HQ and fundraising and £980 for AdSurf 🤗 We'd like to take the opportunity to thank all the amazing local businesses for your generous raffle and tombola prizes, and all our helpers who make the day possible. But most importantly, thank you to our wonderful community for all your ongoing support - the day wouldn't be possible without you all. Can't wait to see you again next year 😉🚒😎

That's a wrap, we've sold out on the BBQ and the weather's just come in again... but we've had an amazing day.. Thank you to everyone for your support! 😍 The cash will now be counted and we'll be announcing our total over the next few days. Much love from us all... What a great community as always. The weather is looking better, the raffle prices are all numbered, the tomobola is sorted, cakes are being made, the stocks have arrived, we are ready so are you ready to join us?

Remember we have live music, a licences bar, and a barbecue with butches supplied meat.
Abby’s Ice Cream Treats will also be there along with Blaze The Bear.
