Looking for Easter Holiday activities for your young readers? Join us at Ixworth Library for a Spring Poetry Afternoon!

Join us on Friday 10th April, from 2-4pm as we celebrate National Poetry Month with spring-themed poetry readings and crafts! Hear some lovely literature with our staff and volunteers' favourite poems in the Children's Library, and take part in our wonderful poetry crafts.

Explore different types of poetry, like shaped poems, limericks, haikus, acrostic poems and even blackout poetry! With plenty of examples, creative prompts, and help available, we look forward to welcoming children of all ages to unleash some literary creativity, and help us get cheerful for spring.

You can even create your own poems on our poetry leaves and flowers to see your work become part of our Poe-Tree display for April!
