Signs of Spring are starting to appear at the Keep! ADVANCE NOTICE - we will be closed on Friday 3rd and Sunday 5th April (Good Friday and Easter Sunday) to allow our staff and volunteers a long weekend with their families.

Yesterday we welcomed a group of Fashion and Textiles students from West Suffolk College who were taking a closer look at some of the fabric items in the collection in preparation for their project 'Covert Textile Communication: Stitched Signal'

Today we let our Curator out for good behaviour (ok, she was there for a meeting)! Thanks to NAM for hosting her and she hopes for a better look round next time!

It's a bit chilly at The Keep, but we're looking forward to welcoming visitors back to the museum from tomorrow! We'll be open from 0930 until 1530 as usual.

Christmas Closure:
We will be closed from Friday 19th December 2025 and will reopen on Wednesday 7th January 2026. Please note that we will NOT be open on Sunday 4th January 2026.

The repairs to the front gate have been completed, so access is back to normal again!

There will be no access via the front gate on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th December 2025. Access will be via Western Way and Beetons Way and through the West Suffolk College car park.
