It's only Tuesday and we're already firing on all cylinders! 😂🚀

Today we've got FOUR teams heading out, all tackling different jobs, in different locations, but with one thing in common…

Getting stuck in and making a difference! 💪💙

🚛 Vans loaded
🧤 PPE packed
☕ Coffee consumed (probably not enough!)
📍 Teams heading off in all directions
📱 Phones already ringing
📋 And the office trying to keep track of everyone! 😂

One of the things we love most about Pocket Rockets is the variety. No two jobs are the same, no two days are the same, and we certainly never know quite what the day is going to throw at us!

While our teams are out doing what they do best, there's plenty happening behind the scenes too — organising jobs, speaking to clients, juggling diaries, sorting paperwork and answering the never-ending phone calls!

Four teams. One Pocket Rockets family. And a whole lot of teamwork! 💙🚀

We're incredibly proud of the people who make all of this possible.

Now, if someone could just invent a coffee machine that delivers directly to the vans, that would be fantastic! ☕🤣

We received this lovely card, and it's moments like these that remind us why we do what we do.

Working at Pocket Rockets isn't always easy. We see people at some of the most difficult, overwhelming and vulnerable times in their lives.

We walk into homes where people may have struggled for months or even years. We meet people who are embarrassed, anxious or simply don't know where to start.

And we do what we do best. We listen, we don't judge, we roll up our sleeves and we help. 💙

But what people don't always realise is just how much their kind words mean to us.

A smile, a heartfelt thank you, a lovely message or a card like this can genuinely make our day.

Our team put so much of themselves into their work. Not just the physical effort, but the patience, compassion, understanding and care that goes into every job.

And when someone takes the time to tell us we've made a difference, it means the world. 🥹

To everyone who has trusted Pocket Rockets to help them, their family or someone they support — thank you.

And to our amazing team, who continue to go above and beyond, often without realising the impact they're having…

One of the most important things we want people to know about Pocket Rockets is this:
We are not coming into your home to judge you.
We don’t care how it got to this point.
We don’t care how long it’s been like it.
And you do NOT need to apologise to us.
Sometimes life gets on top of people.

Illness, bereavement, mental health, mobility, hospital stays, caring responsibilities or simply struggling to cope can all have an impact on someone’s home.

Our job is to walk through the door and say:
“Right, how can we help?” 💙

We’ll make a plan, get stuck in and work alongside you at a pace that feels manageable.

Because behind every property is a person — and that person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

That will always be the Pocket Rockets way. 🚀

Just another day for the Pocket Rockets!

The reality of our job is that we never quite know what we're going to be walking into — but whatever is waiting on the other side of that door, we get suited up, get stuck in and tackle it together. 💪🚀

There’s something strangely satisfying about standing in a property at the beginning of a job, looking around and thinking…

“Right then… where do we even start?!” 😂

…and then seeing the transformation when we've finished.

Not every job is pretty.
Not every job smells particularly pretty either. 👃😂
But making a real difference at the end of it makes it worthwhile. 💙

🚀 FRIDAY STATUS: WE SURVIVED THE WEEK! 😂

What a week it’s been for the Pocket Rockets…

Miles driven: A LOT 🚛
Gloves used: We’ve lost count 🧤
Coffee consumed: Classified information ☕
Strange smells encountered: Too many 👃
“Where are the van keys?” asked: More times than we’d like to admit 🔑
Paperwork completed: We don’t want to talk about it 😩
Laughs along the way: Plenty 😂

From welfare cleans and pigeon guano to aircraft hangars, hotel air-con filters and everything happening behind the scenes, it’s certainly not been a boring one!

But the vans are heading home, the gloves are coming off and the weekend is FINALLY in sight. 🙌

Massive shoutout to our Pocket Rockets who have absolutely smashed another busy week. 💙🚀

Now for the important question…

Friday night — straight into PJs 🛋️ or straight to the pub? 🍻😂

🐦 “How much pigeon poo are we talking?”

🧤 “Have we got enough gloves?”

🚛 “We’re going to need the bigger van.”

👃 “DO NOT take your mask off in there.”

☕ “Has anyone actually eaten today?”

📸 “WAIT! Have you taken the before photos?!”

🗑️ “What on earth is THAT?”

Considering the jobs we do, you definitely need a strong stomach, a good team and a slightly questionable sense of humour!

🚀 HALFWAY THROUGH THE WEEK… AND WHAT A WEEK IT’S BEEN!
It’s only Wednesday and the Pocket Rockets have already been everywhere! 😂

So far this week we’ve:

✈️ Tackled pigeon guano in an aircraft hangar — definitely not your average day at the office!
🐦 Collected pigeon guano from another site ready for safe disposal.
🏠 Completed THREE welfare cleans, with some absolutely amazing results. These are the jobs that really remind us why we do what we do — seeing the difference at the end is something else. 💙
🏨 And, just to mix things up, we’ve also been cleaning air-conditioning filters for a large hotel chain across two different regions.

And somehow… we’ve still got TWO days to go! 👀😂
While some of the team have finally finished for the day, half of the Pocket Rockets are still going this evening — sorting and restocking vans, contacting clients, organising upcoming jobs and, of course…

📑 THE DREADED PAPERWORK. 😩
People often see the before-and-afters, but there’s a whole lot that happens behind the scenes to keep everything running.

Busy? Absolutely.
Tired? Possibly. 😂
Proud of this team? 100%. 💙
Right then… who’s putting the kettle on? ☕🚀
