👋 Meet the Team – Meet Richard!
Every business needs someone who's always thinking a few steps ahead... making sure everyone stays safe, standards stay high and everything runs as it should. At ISM, that's Richard! 👏
Richard joined ISM in May 2017, having previously worked at Sellers Containers (who just happened to be one of our customers!).
As our Health & Safety Manager, Richard oversees the company's day-to-day health and safety requirements, but that's only part of the story...
Over the years he's also taken on responsibility for Quality, helping implement and maintain our ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 UKAS-accredited standards, as well as supporting purchasing, maintenance and HR.
Basically... if there's a hat to wear, Richard's probably got one hanging in his office!
What does Richard enjoy most about working at ISM?
"The staff are great and easy to work with. Management genuinely get involved in health and safety, actively listen and help implement improvements to protect the workforce. If you have a problem, nothing is too much trouble."
