🔥KS1 had an exciting afternoon bringing their learning to life! After designing and making their own cardboard houses, the children watched as they were set alight to recreate the Great Fire of London in 1666! 🏠🔥
It was a fantastic hands-on experience that helped the children understand how quickly the fire spread through the wooden houses of London. What a memorable way to bring history to life! 🌟

🔥🚒 A very special visit for KS1 🚒🔥
As part of our Great Fire of London history unit, our KS1 children were excited to welcome firefighters from Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service to school.
The firefighters spoke to the children about their important role in keeping people safe, showed them the special uniform and equipment they wear and explained what to do if they ever experience a fire. The children also had the fantastic opportunity to explore the fire engine and discover some of the equipment firefighters use.
It was a brilliant way to bring our history learning to life while also teaching the children some very important fire-safety messages.
A huge thank you to Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service for taking the time to visit us and for such an informative and exciting experience! ❤️🔥

HARVEST FOOD DONATION CHALLENGE!
As part of our Harvest celebrations, we are collecting food donations for The Red Trust.

Each Key Stage will be competing to see who can collect the most food donations. The winning Key Stage will be rewarded with a little DISCO PARTY in the hall! 🪩💃🕺🎶

📅 Deadline: 19th October

Every donation, big or small, will help support people in our community.
