🏦🎉 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡!

Friday marked another special milestone for Camborne Banking Hub as we celebrated our official opening! 🎀✂️

We were delighted to welcome our local MP, Perran Moon for Camborne, Redruth and Hayle, and the Mayor of Camborne, Ed Chapman, representing Camborne Town Council, alongside representatives from the banking community and everyone who joined us to mark the occasion.

After months of hard work behind the scenes, it’s wonderful to see the Hub open, welcoming customers and providing vital face-to-face banking services in the heart of Camborne.

A huge thank you to Cash Access UK, Post Office and everyone who has helped make this possible, and to our fantastic team who are bringing the Hub to life every day. ❤️

🏦❤️ 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗔 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗗𝗔𝗬!

On Friday morning, after months of planning and preparation, we finally opened the doors to 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝘂𝗯 for the very first time.

It was brilliant to welcome so many people through the doors — including the first couple who came in to have a look around and ask a few questions, followed shortly afterwards by 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿. 📸

For us, the Banking Hub is an exciting extension of the family business we’ve built at Tehidy Road over nearly 24 years.

📮 𝗧𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗱𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲.

The Hub is another part of the Tehidy Road family and another way for us to serve the community — alongside everything we continue to do at the Post Office.

After months of planning and preparation, 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝟵𝗮𝗺.

We know there’s been lots of interest locally in what’s happening behind those doors, so here’s a little sneak peek before we officially open tomorrow. ❤️

The Hub will provide everyday banking services for customers of participating banks, including 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀, 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, alongside Community Bankers from individual banks on different days for more specific banking enquiries.

We’ll be sharing plenty more about how the Hub works and what’s available over the coming days.

We just wanted to say a huge 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 for all the lovely comments, messages and kind words we’ve received over the last few days.

After nearly 24 years at Tehidy Road, you don’t often stop and think about what our Post Office has meant to people — but reading your comments this weekend has been really quite special. ❤️

Some of you have been coming through these doors for years, some since before our family even arrived, and seeing so many familiar names sharing their memories and experiences has meant an awful lot to us.

We’re incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful bunch of customers and such a supportive community around us.

❤️ A little reassurance from us at Tehidy Road

We’ve had lots of customers asking us over the last few days about the reports surrounding Camborne town centre Post Office.

We know there’s a lot of conversation and concern locally at the moment. As there hasn’t yet been an official announcement, it wouldn’t be right for us to speculate or comment on another branch.

What we can say is that Tehidy Road Post Office is here, open as usual six days a week, and ready to help however we can. ❤️

Our family has been serving the local community from Tehidy Road for nearly 24 years, and through all the changes over those years, we’ve always tried to offer the same thing — a friendly, trusted local Post Office that you know you can rely on.
