Somak's soulful voice has been charming the audience in the events of Wales Puja Committee ever since he has been performing. And, like a true artist, besides being an amazing singer Somak is a most unassuming and humble person - which has simply increased our admiration for him further. The 2025 'Bijoya Sammelini' programme was no different when, once again, we were privileged to hear Somak's effortless & wonderful singing.
2025 Bijoya Sammelini organised in the office of the Wales Puja Committee was an event held in a warm & homely environment. The cultural programme was initiated by an audio play (sruti natok) with resident actors in the community based on contemporary issues in the society in Bengal especially for the middle class families.

In Saraswati pujas organised by the Wales Puja Committee over the years, it has been a tradition for the children to perform and present their talents, however, many times adults too add their flair in the cultural programmes. This year, Swagata sang a Rabindra sangeet which was on Goddess Saraswati.
For the regular audience members in the cultural programmes organised by Wales Puja Committee, Jishnu has been a growing talent. With his melodious vocals and acting talents he has been wowing us. This year Jishnu presented a monologue act from a famous Shakespearean play with a maturity much beyond his age.
One of the tiny tots, Aadea - has been charming us in our cultural programmes with her natural talent in dancing for the past year or so. This year, too, in the Saraswati Puja, Aadea performed an adorable dance act.
We have seen Aahana perform in various events of Wales Puja Committee in the past few years - always impressing with her talent & versatility. This year, in Saraswati puja, she sang as well as played her violin.
