Sub-Sahara Advisory Panel Applying knowledge, skills and lived experiencesnof Africans in Wales for community development in Wales ams Africa

SSAP aims to consider and pursue the needs of Diaspora Groups in their international development work, and to facilitate the knowledge and skills of Diaspora Groups in Wales to be used to advice and support indigenous Welsh International Development Organisations.

5 young black people from Wales travelled to Kenya earlier this month for an exchange trip funded by and supported by

In Nairobi they were hosted by the Mukuru Collective who kindly created a jam packed itinerary. Over two weeks, the group immersed themselves in Kenyan culture, met local communities and helped conduct research into the Ngong River, exploring the factors contributing to pollution along the river in the Mukuru area. 🌱💧
