🍂🎃 A wonderful time at Better Start Together Playgroup! 🎃🍂

We had a fantastic time at our Better Start Together playgroup last week, filled with singing, play, painting and getting to know one another!

Our autumn-themed session was great fun, as we got creative decorating pumpkins and leaves. Our beautiful creations are now proudly displayed outside our centre doors for everyone to enjoy!

Better Start Together is our free monthly playgroup for children under 2 who are part of our early intervention service, Better Start, Better Future. It’s a lovely opportunity for parents to connect with other families while enjoying fun, engaging activities.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and made the session so special. We loved seeing you all, and we can’t wait to welcome you back next time.

🏇 What an amazing day we had at Ffos Las Racecourse yesterday for our Race Day event! 🏇

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and to our fantastic headline sponsors, RWK Goodman, for their generous support.

Our Better Start Lunch on Friday was an incredible afternoon, full of delicious food, incredible entertainment from , insightful conversation with Livvy Breen and Liz Johnson, and fantastic fundraising efforts!

We would like to say a massive thank you to our headline sponsor , thank you for helping us make our ‘Better Start Lunch’ possible and for the support you show to our early intervention service ‘Better Start, Better Future.’

We recently hosted a Train the Trainer session with and at our Children’s Centre in Llanishen!

The session provided our therapists from Cerebral Palsy Cymru and other organisations with training, building their knowledge and confidence in supporting children and young people to use their wheelchairs.

Thank you to the Whizz Kidz team for joining us, Matt from Celtic Therapy & Rehab Services for bringing various powered wheelchairs for us to use, and to everyone who took part!

💚 Today is World Cerebral Palsy Day!

Our staff at Cerebral Palsy Cymru wore green today, the colour of cerebral palsy awareness, to show our support.

World Cerebral Palsy Day brings people around the world together to celebrate and support people with cerebral palsy, embrace diversity and work towards a more accessible and inclusive future for everyone.

Cerebral palsy is the most common physical disability in childhood worldwide. Here in Wales, it’s estimated that every five days, a baby is born who will have cerebral palsy.
