📢Calling all local residents!

The National Trust for Scotland is holding a community consultation event about Geilston Garden and House at Geilston Hall. We want to understand what local people love most about the garden in the heart of our community.

Come along to explore maps and historical photographs and share your memories with us.

The event will take place at Geilston Hall, Cardross on Sunday 25 October, 12-4.

Drop by for an informal chat over tea, coffee and biscuits!

It’s been a long weigh to the top for our gardeners at Geilston… 🎃

6 months of sowing, planting, growing and harvesting for our pumpkin to tip the scales at 16.2kg!

But will it be enough for us to squash the competition and win the Trust’s Pumpkin Weigh-Off? 👀

It’s pumpkin vs pumpkin at the National Trust for Scotland, as eight garden teams across the country compete for the heaviest pumpkin.

National Trust for Scotland is revealing who’s grown the biggest next week, so tune in for the great gourd-off! 🏆
