🧙‍♀️Did you know about the ‘good’ witch buried at Castle Ashby?
Hidden inside St Mary Magdalene Church is a gravestone with a fascinating story that has been passed down through generations.
Legend tells of Catrina Adams, who is said to have predicted an attack during the Civil War — and became known as the ‘good witch’ who helped save Castle Ashby. 🏰
Her gravestone is easy to spot, too… look for the unusual skull and crossbones and a hand carved into the stone. 💀🖐️
