A little behind the scenes at Hylands Fear Fest… 👀🎃

You’ve never seen Hylands quite like this! The finishing touches are going in ahead of opening night this Friday 16 October — and while things might not look quite so terrifying in daylight, just wait until the sun goes down.

Running until Sunday 1 November, this brand-new Halloween event brings two very different experiences to the Estate:

👻 Fear Fest Spooky Trail — a family-friendly adventure with playful characters, interactive moments and gently spooky surprises.

😱 Fear Fest Extreme (15+) — a high-intensity scare experience with live actors, immersive sets, chilling soundscapes and plenty waiting for you in the dark.

Whichever you choose, you can also enjoy the fairground, with food and drinks available during your visit.

Last Christmas Party date remaining! 🎄🥂
Our Christmas Parties have filled up fast, and Saturday 19 December is now the final date with tables still available.

Join us for a three-course meal, drinks, live entertainment and plenty of time on the dancefloor in the festively decorated Grand Pavilion.

Open Estate Day is in full swing! 🍂

We’re here until 3pm, with plenty of autumnal flavours, seasonal vibes and even some children’s crafts to enjoy.

Over at The Stables, live music starts from 11am, the Artist Studios are open to explore and The Deli pop-up bakery is ready with something sweet. 🎶🎨🥐

Today is World Mental Health Day. 💚
It feels like the perfect opportunity to congratulate our very own Charlotte, who has recently completed her training to become a Mental Health First Aider.

For Charlotte, even small things can make a difference during a busy working day:

“I love to step away from my desk and take a walk around the park during my lunch break. A bit of fresh air, some time away from a screen and a chance to reset can make such a difference to the rest of the day.

"I’m looking forward to using what I’ve learnt to help support those around me and, most importantly, continuing to make mental health part of everyday conversations.” 💚

Christmas at The Stables is back! 🎄✨

Yesterday was all about a team catch-up and a little team building for the Hylands team.

We spent some time looking back at the highlights of the past year and hearing more about the plans for 2027 and beyond.

We also enjoyed some games, plenty of laughs and just a little friendly competition along the way. 🎮

It was a lovely chance to get everyone together and spend some time as a team after a busy summer wedding season and ahead of a packed winter event programme!
