🎄 SAVE THE DATE FOR OUR DECEMBER QUARTERLY MEETING AND AWARDS 🎄

Our final quarterly meeting of the year on 9th December sees a morning of great speakers and great company, whilst celebrating those who have excelled during 2026.

🎄Speaker 1: Richard Rajham, HM Inspector of Health and Safety/Inspection Division at HSE

Richard joins us to present the HSE’s annual update.

🎄Speaker 2: Stuart Mace, Director of Workplace Health, and Wellbeing of Construction Health Network

Stuart will be giving us an overview of the CLC’s JCoP on preventing and managing psychosocial risk in construction.

The CLC Joint Code of Practice (JCoP) on preventing and managing psychosocial risk in construction is a new industry framework launched on 15 June 2026. It aims to change how the construction industry approaches mental health by emphasising mental health support at work taking the same approach as physical health and safety. The JCoP focuses on preventing problems at work, rather than relying mainly on support once someone is already struggling.

🎄Speaker 3: TBC

Make sure you book your free place to attend this event either in person at our Chertsey Centre or virtually (via Zoom) for what we are sure will be an interesting and informative morning.

Note the meeting is open to CHSG Members and non-Members, and is free to join.

The meeting will be followed by our annual awards and a Christmas buffet, so whether you’re a long-time member or new to the group this is the perfect way to finish the year strong!

🎄Schedule:

Quarterly Meeting: 9am arrival for 9.30am start in-person or Zoom waiting room opens at 9.15am.

Annual Awards: Our awards will commence post the Quarterly Meeting.

Location: At our Chertsey Centre (John Ryder Training Centre, St Anns Road, Chertsey, KT16 9DG and on Zoom

Today we hosted our annual trainer's meeting, a face-to-face get-together with our internal and external trainers to go through new updates and discuss how to make our courses the best they can be for our delegates - and they even left us some pretty good cake from lunch!
