Meet the team at Church Stretton Library!

If you've visited us recently, chances are you've been greeted by this friendly smile behind the counter. Meet Gail, our fabulous Assistant Library Manager 😀

We asked Gail some quick-fire questions and here are her answers...

📖 Physical book vs. Audio: Physical Books AND Audiobooks! No thank you to Ebooks

🔖 Weirdest bookmark found: Pressed flowers in tissue paper 🙂

☕ Ultimate comfort read: 'The Hatmakers' and 'The Mapmakers' by Tamzin Merchant plus all of the 'Wizards of Once' series by Cressida Cowell

🍽️ Dream literary dinner guest: Raven, Sarah and Dr Simpson from the Scottish Victorian 'Raven & Fisher Mysteries'

💡 Current library book recommendation: Books by Kylie Lee Baker - Horror / Gothic Fiction: Includes novels like 'Bat Eater' and 'Japanese Gothic', which mix dark atmospheres, gore, historical settings, and Japanese

Rather than buying new, pop in to see us if you need costumes for Halloween, World Book Day or School dressing up days.

We are delighted to partner with With Love From who helped us to set up our Shared Wardrobe.
